Nonprofits First is a 501(c)(3) organization established by a coalition of public and private funders to strengthen the administrative and operational capacity of nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County. Comprised of experienced executives, consultants and volunteers, the vision of Nonprofits First is a community in which all nonprofits achieve their highest level of success.
We promote quality and accountability in our nonprofit community through:
Leadership Development and Education, which include regularly offered workshops, and programs such as Rising Leaders, the Sustainability and Social Enterprise Institute, and Managing Data for Better Outcomes;
Management Services, which include Human Resources, Information Technology, and Financial Management; and
Certification, which allows organizations to demonstrate excellence in nonprofit management by adhering to a unified set of standards.
