First OnBoard
Are you interested in serving on a nonprofit board? Is your agency seeking board members?
We invite you to participate in GoLead First OnBoard! This public-private collaboration is designed to prepare individuals in the community to serve as valuable and engaged members of a nonprofit board in the community.
First OnBoard recruits, trains and matches individuals with nonprofit agencies in Palm Beach County. We work collaboratively with agencies in the community to identify board placement opportunities that would be attractive to prospective board members. Individuals who are interested in serving on a nonprofit board will complete an application process and participate in an eleven-hour training program delivered through the Education, Leadership and Consulting Services division.

The tentative schedule for the next First OnBoard program is as follows:
- Tuesday, October 6, 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 13. 2:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 20, 2:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 28, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Looking for board members?
Nonprofits First is accepting requests for board candidates from agencies funded by the Children’s Services Council, Palm Healthcare Foundation, United Way, and Palm Beach County FAA.
