On June 28, 2010, Nonprofits First®, Inc., presented sub-awards totaling $200,588 to twenty-one Palm Beach County nonprofit organizations at a ceremony held at the United Way of Palm Beach County.
Each year, in preparation for hurricane season, Nonprofits First partners with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. to present an education program to the nonprofit organizations of Palm Beach County that helps them update their existing disaster response and recovery plans.
