Coping With Stress

"Adopting the right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive one." - Hans Selye

According to the World Health Organization, pressure at the workplace is unavoidable due to the demands of the contemporary work environment. Pressure perceived as acceptable by an individual, may even keep workers alert, motivated, able to work and learn, depending on the available resources and personal characteristics. However, when that pressure becomes excessive or otherwise unmanageable it leads to stress. Stress can damage an employee's health and the business performance. This series is designed not only to give participants valuable tools for monitoring and coping with their own stress but develop plans of action to help create a healthy work environment which recognizes the value of a healthy corporate culture.
