|Nonprofit Financial Management Network|
The Nonprofit Financial Management Network (NFM Network) was formed through a partnership of five Palm Beach County nonprofit organizations with a vision to create a formalized means by which nonprofit financial professionals could have ready access to training, informational resources, peer-to-peer networking, collaboration and support. The five organizations, (namely The Arc of Palm Beach County, Community Partners, The Lord’s Place, Nonprofits First, and Palm Beach Habilitation Center) have lent the expertise of their senior financial leaders to help establish a cohesive, collaborative and exceptional nonprofit financial community in Palm Beach County.
MISSION/WHAT WE DO
The mission of the NFM Network is to create an open forum for nonprofit financial professionals to develop beyond their current strengths and abilities.
Opportunities to participate in the NFM Network will come in various forms, such as attending trainings, networking events, and roundtables. There will also be a need for a robust pool of committed individuals to help develop and fulfill the mission. Opportunities are anticipated to include: participating on committees and focus groups, speaking at future workshops and informational presentations, events planning/execution; and participation in organized leadership roles, similar to a Board of Directors or leadership team.
