Stress Less Achieve MORE mindfulness-in-action training develops a higher level of leadership  and self-mastery in high-pressure environments. Our approach is built on three assertions:

1.     We all get triggered and react at times when under pressure. This  limits listening and negatively can affect relationships, decisions and actions.

2.     Traditional stress management methods-meditation, yoga etc .- require that we take time out of our busy schedules to practice, which many people fail to do.

3.     Research shows that the brain stores information based on arousal levels. Thus, we may not be able to draw  on the calm state we find in meditation when in high-pressured situations.

Our mindfulness-in-action training teaches an inner map and embodied practices that guide participants in using pressure-the energy of change- to enhance performance, relationships, creativity and wellbeing. This map can be applied at any time and within any activity.

Once participants learn the basics of this inner map, they practice using it under increasing levels of pressure. In so doing, they imprint new neural responses that enable them to stay calm, empowered and decisive in complex situations or crisis.

Our mindfulness-in-action approach is based on the energy principles and practices of aikido- a martial art that teaches the peaceful resolution of conflict, somatics, psychology, and neuroscience.

Our associates have successfully used this approach with leaders and scientists from such companies as Chanel USA, Cellular One, EA Sports, MasterCard, Nextel, Novartis Latin America, The Marines and Special Forces. This approach has also been used with veterans with PTSD, substance abusers, battered women, and with children to help them remain focused and centered.
