 ABOUT THE PRESENTER


Mara LaLonde

As the Principal Consultant and Owner of MSL Grant Consulting LLC, Mara LaLonde has close to 20 years of experience in grant development, strategy and management working for nonprofits such as the American Heart Association, Barry University, Broward County Human Services Department, and the (former) Florida Philharmonic Orchestra.

Mara is a graduate of Villanova University with a Master of Science in Psychology and Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Committed to partnering with leading community-centered companies, MSL has worked closely over the years with Group Victory, Inc., assisting with grants resulting in million dollar awards for human service agencies.Additional clients include Parkinson’s Foundation, Drum Café Southeast, Stories Lived Short Film Festival, Broward Education Foundation and Jewish Women’s Foundation of Broward County to name a few.

Mara’s areas of expertise include:

  • Coaching staff and providing hands-on technical assistance from the developmental stage of a grant through program implementation and grant award management
