ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Jan L Rodusky is the founder and principal of Venn There Grants Consulting, LLC . She established the consulting firm in May 2019 to help nonprofit organizations create or refresh their grant system to align with organization’s mission, strategic priorities, program design and grants management. She has over 30 years of experience as a funder, grant writer and program manager in arts & culture, healthcare, and education.

Jan has extensive experience and knowledge to coach individuals to think strategically, write compassionately and work intentionally to achieve success in grants. From 2008-2019, she was the Chief Grants Officer for the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County whose funding priorities are programming and marketing grants to cultural organizations and artists. Before joining the Council, Jan spent 9 years establishing and growing the grantmaking programs for Palm Healthcare Foundation. Prior to that, she spent 10 years securing gifts and grants for health focused organizations as a professional fund raiser in northeast Ohio and southeast Florida. Building upon the unique experience of being both the grantee and the grantor, she is committed to strategic grant making and working to improve the effectiveness of the nonprofits delivering the services.

Jan earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Kent State University. She earned her fundraising certification (CFRE) in 1998. She is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County's Engage Program and a 2008 Fellow of the German Marshall Fund’s Marshall Memorial Fellowship Program. She currently serves on the board of Leadership Palm Beach County and the Council for the Village of Royal Palm Beach, Florida.
