Todd's education and career experience spans a number of fields. He started as a emergency medical technician (EMT), then subsequently trained as a radiologic technologist (x-ray tech) at the University of Virginia. While working in the radiology department at Retreat Hospital in Richmond, he completed his bachelor's at Virginia Commonwealth University. Todd received his Master's in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, and then, a number of years later, returned to FAU to complete a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management.

Todd has worked in farms, forests, restaurants, hospitals, professional office settings and non-profits (sometimes those were even the same thing :)
